Arora is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who is played for Himachal Pradesh since 2019. On 10 January 2021, he made his Twenty20 debut for Himachal Pradesh in the 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. On February 21, 2021, he made his List A debut for Himachal Pradesh in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy, scoring a hat-trick in the match.
Arora was purchased by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL auction in February 2021, ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League.
