She gained popularity as a Neha in the Hindi language action thriller film Fan (2016) directed by Maneesh Sharma. Shriya is the daughter of famous actor Sachin Pilgaonkar and actress Supriya Pilgaonkar. She made her directorial debut in the short film The Painted Signal (2012).
