More Information About

Shahbaz Nadeem is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. In December 2004, he made his first-class cricket debut. He has represented Bihar‘s Under-14 team as well as the Indian U-19 team. In September 2018, while playing for Jharkhand, he set a new record for the best bowling figures in a List A cricket match by taking eight wickets for ten runs against Rajasthan.

His first-class debut was impressive earlier this season, but he was hammered by Australia in the Under-19 one-dayers, and he only played one match in the Under-19 World Cup.

Nadeem made a name for himself in the Delhi Daredevils team during the 2012 IPL season, putting in strong performances. He was also nominated for the IPL Rising Star of the Year award, along with seven other players. In the 2018 IPL auction, he was purchased by the Delhi Daredevils in January 2018. He was appointed to India Red’s squad for the  2018–19 Duleep Trophy in July 2018.

Nadeem set a new List A cricket record in September 2018, when he took eight wickets for ten runs from ten overs in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Rajasthan and Jharkhand. He also took a hatrick of wickets in the process. With twenty-four dismissals in nine games, he was the tournament’s leading wicket-taker.
