Rishabh Pant is an Indian middle order wicket-keeper batsman. Rishabh Pant made his first-class debut on 22 October 2015 in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy and his List A debut on 23 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, while playing a match against Maharashtra, Pant scored 308 runs in an innings, becoming the third-youngest Indian to attain a triple century in first-class cricket.

On 1 February 2017, he made his T20I debut against England and his ODI debut against West Indies on 21 October 2018. Pant made his Test debut against England on 18 August 2018. In September 2019, during the second Test against the West Indies, Pant became the fastest wicket-keeper for India to affect fifty dismissals in Test cricket. In January 2021, during the fourth Test against Australia, Pant became the fastest wicket-keeper for India to succeed in1,000 runs in Test cricket.

Pant received the ICC Emerging Player of the Year at the 2018 ICC Awards in January 2019. In the edition of the ICC Emerging Player of the year award, he is also earned the Men’s Player of the Month award in February 2021.

Pant played for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League since 2016. In May 2018, during the 2018 Indian Premier League, Pant scored 128 not out from 63 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, making the then highest individual score by an Indian cricketer in IPL history, but later broken by K. L. Rahul who scored 132 runs for Kings XI Punjab.  In March 2021, Pant was named as the captain of the Delhi Capitals for the 2021 Indian Premier League.
 

On 10 April 2021, against the Chennai Super Kings, Pant played his first match because the Delhi Capitals captain and have become the 4th youngest Indian and 5th youngest overall to captain an IPL side. Pant won his first match as an IPL captain, as Delhi Capitals beat Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets.
