Prasidh Krishna plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket. On March 23, 2021, he made his international debut for the Indian cricket team. On his ODI debut, he became the first Indian bowler to take four wickets.
In April 2018, he was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders as a substitute for injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti for the 2018 IPL season. He made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians on May 6, 2018, in place of Shivam Mavi, who was injured.
Krishna became the fourth player from the Kolkata Knight Riders squad to test positive for the COVID-19 virus in May 2021.
