Mayank Agarwal is a a right-handed top-order batsman and a right arm off break bowler. Agarwal rose to prominence following his successes in the 2008-09 Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy and the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he was India’s top run scorer. In 2010, he was named Man of the Series in the Karnataka Premier League.
Mayank scored his first Indian Premier League century for Kings XI Punjab against Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah Cricket Stadium on September 27, 2020. In the match, he scored 106 runs off 50 balls, but his team lost. In IPL 2020, he scored 424 runs for Kings XI Punjab at an average of 38.54 in 11 matches.
