In 1996, Greiner developed and patented a plastic earring organizer. Before the holiday season, J.C. Penney took advantage of the offer, which enabled her to pay off her $300,000 loan in just eighteen months. Greiner has patented consumer goods in a variety of sectors, including cosmetic storage, jewelry storage, travel, electronics, and domestic items.
Greiner extended her brand after her success with J.C. Penney, with her product appearing on Home Shopping Network and in the retail shop Bed, Bath and Beyond.
She moved to QVC shortly after, and in 2000, she debuted Clever & Unique Creations, one of the network’s longest-running shows.
Her investment in Scrub Daddy, a company that makes a texture-changing household sponge, was one of the most successful Shark Tank investments ever in 2014.
Lori published Invent it, Sell it, Banks It! – Turn Your Million-Dollar Idea into a Reality in March 2014, a how-to guide based on her own entrepreneurial experience.
