Hardik Pandya is an Indian professional cricket player. Pandya has been playing for the Baroda cricket team since 2013. He played an important role in Baroda winning the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy within the 2013–14 season.
In the 2015 season of the Indian Premier League, he scored a fast fire 21 runs off 8 balls and grabbed three important catches to assist Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and was awarded the person of the match. Later on against Kolkata Knight Riders, during a must-win situation for Mumbai Indians to stay within the race for the highest 4 teams, he scored a quickfire 61 off 31 balls to win the match for his side and earn his second man of the match award within the season. He was also awarded the ‘Yes Bank maximum sixes award’ for an equivalent match.
On 16 October 2016, Pandya made his ODI debut against New Zealand. In the same year, he made his T20I debut against Australia. He made his Test debut against Sri Lanka on 26 July 2017. He played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League since 2015.
In 2019, Pandya and K. L. Rahul were invited to Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan. The episode stirred controversy due to their sexiest comments.
Since 2020, he married his long-time partner Indian-based Serbian dancer and actress Natasa Stankovic and the couple welcomed their first child a son named Agasyta on 30 July 2020. His brother Krunal Pandya is also a professional cricket player.
