Deepak Chahar is an Indian professional cricket player. In 2018, he made his ODI debut against Afghanistan and T20I debut against England. Chahar was awarded the T20I Performance of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2020. He played against West Indies in the final match of the series and won the player of the match award with the figure of 3/4.
He played a prominent role in winning the series against Bangladesh in the final match. He took the best bowling figures in T20Is, with six wickets for seven runs from 3.2 overs. He won the Player of the Match award for the final match and also the Player of the series award.
