Buddz appeared on the tune “Mad Mad World” from Shaggy’s 2007 studio album Intoxication.
In 2008, he played his song “S.O.S.” as the entrance theme for wrestler Kofi Kingston on WWE The Music, Vol. 8. He also made an appearance in a remix of Kid Cudi’s hit “Day ‘n’ Nite” from 2009.
On July 12, 2012, Buddz released his first EP, Playback.
On the Good Vibes Tour in 2013, he performed alongside Rebelution, Matisyahu, and Zion I of The Green. Buddz has performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Hot 97 Summer Jam, Reggae on the Rocks, California Roots Music and Arts Festival, UCLA JazzReggae, Seattle City Arts Festival, Manifestivus, and the Marley Family’s 9 Mile Music Festival.
On May 22, 2020, Buddz launched his own Riddim album, Cali Roots Riddim 2020. On the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, the album reached #7. The album comprises a single riddim or rhythm that is performed by a number of famous reggae rock performers, including Collie Buddz himself.
On May 28, 2021, he released another riddim compilation, Cali Roots Riddim 2021, which featured 27 tracks and was once again mixed and produced by Johnny Cosmic. Alborosie, Atmosphere, Ballyhoo!, The Expanders, Groundation, Iration, Josh Heinrichs, KBong, New Kingston, Passafire, Through The Roots, Tropidelic, and many others are among the acts featured.
