Abhishek Sharma is an Indian cricket player who is a left handed batsman and a left arm orthodox bowler. On February 25, 2017, he made his List A debut for Punjab in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. On October 6, 2017, he made his first-class debut for Punjab in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. He was named to India’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand in December 2017.
In January 2018, he was purchased for Rs 5.5 million by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 IPL auction. On 12 May 2018, he made his Twenty20 debut for the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 Indian Premier League, scoring 46 runs off just 19 balls. Ahead of IPL 2020, he was traded to Sunrisers Hyderabad by the Delhi Capitals.
