Ann Corcoran has dyslexia, and her instructors and classmates referred to her as the “stupid kid.” The bullying, according to Corcoran, “pushed her to study harder and gain the skills she needed to succeed.”
Formed The Corcoran Group, a New York City real estate business, which she sold to NRT for $66 million in 2001 and left shortly after. Corcoran has been in all 12 seasons of ABC’s Shark Tank and is one of the show’s original “Shark” investors.
