- Rosa received the ASCAP Latin Heritage Award in 2002.
- He received a special award at the 2002 Lo Nuestro Awards in the same year. Union City, New Jersey honored Santa with the key to the city and a star on the Walk of Fame at Union City’s Celia Cruz Park on September 28, 2008.
