More Information About
Sandeep Warrier plays for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. On November 24, 2012, Sandeep Warrier made his first-class debut against Goa in Malappuram. With twelve dismissals in six matches in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he was Kerala’s top wicket-taker. With 44 dismissals in ten matches in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy group round, he was Kerala’s leading wicket-taker. In the 2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy season, he scored a hat-trick.
After showing dissent against Kerala’s captain, Sachin Baby, he was one of five players suspended for three games in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Sandeep was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore two months after making his Ranji Trophy debut for Kerala in 2013. However, in 2015, he was released by the team. Throughout the seasons, he was on the bench. He was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders just 10 days before the start of the 2019 Indian Premier League after going unsold at auction. Kamlesh Nagarkoti‘s back injury prompted the move.
On 3 May 2021, Sandeep and his KKR teammate Varun Chakaravarthy both tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was scheduled for that day, was postponed.
