Moises Henriques plays for New South Wales. On 17 October 2006 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, he made his high quality debut against South Australia. Just a week later, Henriques played fast bowling 5:17 against Queensland. He became the youngest cricketer in New South Wales since Doug Walters, and took up five wickets in a high class innings. He scored his first-class century in September 2012 and 161 not 229 balls off the banks of Tasmania.
He was bought $300,000 in the Indian Premier League for the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in 2009. In 2010, in exchange for Manoj Tiwary he was traded to the Delhi Daredevils.
Moises Henriques played for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 4, but was excluded from the team due to the damage to the adductor. His contract with the Mumbai Indians for the IPL was released and later raised in the 2013 player auction of the IPL-6 Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was bought in the 2019 Indian Premier League by the Kings XI Punjab after good time with Sunrisers Hyderabad in December 2014-17. But in the 2019 IPL he was unable to feature because of an ankle damage and later was released before IPL 2020 Kings XI Punjab.
Kings XI Punjab released it again before the IPL auction in 2020. The Punjab Kings in an IPL auction before the 2021 Indian Premier League bought Henriques in February 2021.
Moises is the son of former Portuguese football player Alvaro Henriques.
