Jaydev Unadkat is a right handed batsman and a left arm medium bowler. In 2010, he played for India in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Unadkat became the first man to lead Saurashtra to the Ranji Trophy title in March 2020.
In the 2014 IPL auction, he was chosen by Delhi, and in February 2016, Kolkata Knight Riders made the winning bid of 160 lakh (US$220,000) to secure Unadkat’s services. He moved again in February 2017, this time to Rising Pune Supergiants. He hit a hat-trick against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 10th IPL during the match’s final over, which was a wicket maiden over.
