Daniel Sams is an international cricket player who made his international debut for the Australia cricket team in December 2020.
On 30 October 2017, he made his Canterbury in the 2017–18 Plunket Shield season and made his Twenty20 debut for Sydney Sixers in the 2017–18 Big Bash League season on 19 December 2017, taking four wickets for fourteen runs, the best figures by a debutante in the tournament. He made his List A debut for New South Wales in the 2018–19 JLT One-Day Cup on 18 September 2018.
Daniel was selected by the Delhi Capitals for the 2020 Indian Premier League, replacing Jason Roy, on August 27, 2020. Daniel Sams was traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore at the start of the IPL 2021 season.
He was included in Australia’s squad for the limited overs matches against India in October 2020. On December 6, 2020, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Australia against India.
In 2015, Daniel married his longtime partner Danielle Sams also known as Danii.
