Rajshree Thakur is an Indian actress. She started her career as a Marathi newsreader at All India Radio, then did advertisements for few companies. In 2005 She made her acting debut with the role of Saloni Singh in the tv series Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar and was critically acclaimed and also won the Indian Telly Award, Indian Television Academy Awards, Indian Telly Awards for this role. Rajshree also won the Indian Telly Awards and Indian Telly Awards for the supporting role of Maharani Jaiwanta Bai Songara in the historical tv series Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. She has a cameo role in Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai that aired on Star Plus. Thakur was also a cast in Partho Sen-Gupta‘s Indo-French film Hava Aney Dey (2004).
In 2007, she married her childhood friend Sanjot Vaidya.
